Attorneys, Judges, and Prosecutors

Therapy for Attorneys, Judges and Prosecutors in Indiana

Attorneys, judges and prosecutors regularly deal with conflict demanding workloads and situations that can be emotionally intense. Being good at your job doesn't mean the stress doesn't affect you.

I understand that your career comes with a unique set of pressures. Therapy can provide a confidential, judgment-free place to step away from your professional role and focus on yourself.

Long hours, heavy caseloads, deadlines, high-stakes decisions, demanding clients, courtroom pressure and the constant need to be "on" can make it difficult to switch off when the workday ends. Reading about or seeing photos/videos from cases can lead to vicarious trauma. It all could be affecting sleep, relationships, health, confidence or overall quality of life. To wind down, maybe you've noticed you're drinking more than you used to.

There can be a complicated relationship between professional success and asking for help.

Legal professionals are often expected to be confident, capable, analytical and in control. Admitting that you're struggling may feel uncomfortable, especially in a profession where reputation and credibility matter.

Therapy is about having a place where you can be honest, think clearly and address problems before they become bigger ones.

Throughout my career, I have worked with many law professionals including military and civilian. I have worked with those within Marion County Courts and surrounding counties.
