A bit about me: I have been a counselor (LCSW) for over a decade. I began working with the US Army in 2014. From 2015-2020 I served in the US Army as a Behavioral Health Officer. I deployed to Kuwait, Iraq and Jordan. I am also married to an Afghanistan Combat Veteran. |
I expanded my clinical practice to First Responder treatment and exclusively work with the Veteran and First Responder community in Indianapolis, Indiana. I work frequently with Indianapolis Fire Department (IFD), Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD), the Indiana Army National Guard and the Veterans Administration on cases. I completed certification requirements for Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and Brainspotting, two advanced treatments for PTSD. My private practice is located in Northwest Indianapolis.

I was a clinical trainer for Star Behavioral Health Providers for their Tier 1 Intro to Military Culture and Deployment. I presented at the 2021 Indiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy on military and first responder cultural competency. I trained Greensburg Fire Department on mental wellness for their firefighters. I was interviewed on Burnt Out Podcast (Episode 14) and in Triathlete Magazine. I provided consulting for Alpha Stim at the National FOP Conference.
